Podcast to YouTube
This is a little script I cooked up to download the latest episode of a podcast, convert it to video, then upload it to YouTube. I developed this because YouTube is actually an extremely important platform for podcasts.

Interview with Jenny Lewis
A radio interview I conducted for the legendary KLCC. I wrote and researched the questions, edited the content, and prepped it for broadcast and digital platforms. It was a dandy, too.

Responsive Web Design Certification from freeCodeCamp
I completed five projects using HTML and CSS to receive this certification. Up next, JavaScript!

The Eye of the Radio
In addition to my other duties, I’m host and producer of Eye 5, KLCC’s independent music program. It’s music that folks ought to hear, and in Oregon that includes local artists, bands that are playing in our community, and anything that’s good and otherwise underrepresented in media.

KLCC Celebrates Oregon Country Fair
KLCC has a proud tradition of broadcasting live from the mainstage of Oregon Country Fair, one of our beautiful state’s most beloved traditions. As of 2024 I’ve produced and led 3 live broadcasts, but in 2020, while the state was still in lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival couldn’t go as planned. That year I produced a special, digging through the archives of past broadcasts and incorporating new reporting on the “Fair in the Clouds.”

Ultimate Fugitive: from Podcast to Broadcast
The brilliant Ida Hardin, an independent producer based in Eugene, OR, pitched this longform podcast she had produced for broadcast. The project was outstanding so we developed a plan to prepare this podcast for broadcast. I guided the process toward developing it in two phases: a version that would air on KLCC and a version that we’d offer up to other public radio stations across the country.
