About

My name is Jason Brown, and I’m Program Director at KLCC, the NPR affiliate radio station in Eugene, OR. I have 25 years experience in public media, having started as a local on-air host for Morning Edition and All Things Considered. In my time in public media I’ve engineered, recorded, and produced longform programming, supervised and scheduled on-air staff, and launched new websites and programs.

I’m studying technology and web development and have a certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp. JavaScript is next; solving challenges and pushing myself further keeps me going.

In my free time when I’m not toying around with Python I enjoy spinning around the “infinite dial,” designing niche t-shirts, and competing in pub trivia.
